Cardinal Cipriani presided over the closing of the III General Assembly of the Sodalitium Christianae Vitae

Lima, 11/12/06, (Sodalit News).- The Archbishop of Lima and Primate of Peru, Cardinal Juan Luis Cipriani, presided over the final Mass which closed the III General Assembly of the Sodalitium Christianae Vitae. The closing ceremony, in the second Sunday of Advent, was celebrated in the chapel of the Pastoral Center Our Lady of
Evangelization, which was filled with the members of this Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Right. Its founder, L. F. Figari, was also in attendance.

In his inspiring homily, the Primate Cardinal of Peru encouraged the members of the Sodalitium, born in Lima 35 years ago, to continue working in the preaching of the Gospel. He also highlighted the marian filial piety of the sodalits and their devotion to Our Lady of Reconciliation, inviting them to embrace with humility the many blessings that God has bestowed on the Sodalitium during this time. He said: “May God continue to bless you with fruits of holiness, with fidelity, at the service of the Church.”
