Peruvian founder will participate in meeting of the Pontifical Council for the Laity with Cardinals and Bishops from different countries

Rome, 16/05/08 (Sodalit News). - 'The ecclesial movements and new communities as a gift of the Holy Spirit to the Church of our time” is the theme of the Study Seminar for Bishops, which began yesterday in the town of Rocca di Papa, near Rome.

Among those present will be D. Luis Fernando Figari, founder of the Christian Life Movement. L.F. Figari is a consultant to the Pontifical Council for the Laity, appointed in 2002 by Pope John Paul II, as well as Founder and Superior General of Sodalitium Christianae Vitae.

Over a hundred Cardinals and Bishops, from some fifty countries throughout the five continents will be participating in this study seminar, along with representatives from various ecclesial movements.
